After the digitization campaigns in Karlovacs (Croatia), Athens (Greece) and Bologna (Italy) were completed - within the CreDit project -, training activities were carried out involving both museum staff and students from different schools in the co-design of digital products and itineraries. In addition, the project partners elaborated a series of drawings on their hydraulic heritages that will soon be made available for interactive online educational activities on the UACE platform.
By September, 2024 WAMU-NET will also make these new interactive digital tools available on its website section AQUAPLAY, to all museums wishing to take advantage of the opportunity to engage children through online creativity and art. This interactive environment hosted by WAMU-NET will enable at least 12 additional museums of the WAMU-NET network to upload their contents and use them for online educational activities.
More details, recently introduced during the 13th G.A. of the Global Network of Water Museums last June 17th, will be presented during the 5th WAMU-NET Conference in Porto next October, when a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed by those WAMU-NET members interested in taking advantage of these new tools.
